Various social impact assessment studies related to coal mining activities carried out in the TKI Directorates are performed to demonstrate TKI’s social benefit-oriented corporate culture and highlight the cogent evidence of the environmental and social benefits provided by TKI.
These studies aim to assess mining activities' direct or indirect impact on the related stakeholders (miners, families of miners, local community, and local tradesmen) and reveal the study findings transparently based on valid indicators and data.
Some essential points that can improve the life and work-life qualities of the miners employed in the mining sites of the TKI Directorates, their families and the other people affected by the relevant processes are revealed in the studies. Besides, critical points that can contribute to the strategies and policies by improving efficiency and quality in the working areas are also discussed in these studies.
